Tideborn Command
★★★★☆ 4.3
Tideborn Command asks you to think like an admiral, not a button masher. You manage a small fleet across an archipelago, balancing supply lines against the temptation to push forward too fast. Every campaign taught me a painful lesson about overextending.
The interface is clean for a strategy game on a small screen, with pinch-zoom that actually works and orders you can queue in advance. Fights resolve semi-automatically, but your prep — formation, positioning, when to retreat — decides everything.
It's not a fast game, and that's the point. If you like chewing on a decision for a full minute before committing, this scratches that itch beautifully.
