Neon Apex Rush
★★★★☆ 4.2
Neon Apex Rush is unapologetically arcade. Cars grip like they're on rails until you tap the brake to drift, and then it all becomes about chaining slides through neon-soaked corners. The tilt controls are optional, thankfully, because the on-screen buttons feel great.
Track design is the star. Each course has a rhythm you learn over a few laps, and shaving a second off your best time genuinely feels earned. Rubber-band AI shows up occasionally, which annoys me, but it keeps races tense.
There's a fair bit of unlockable content and cosmetic tuning, none of which felt required to enjoy the driving. It just wants you to go fast and look cool doing it.
